Beach Party!!!

Yes, there's another party @ Vitamin Ci! Summers can get slow in SL and to entertain myself AND you, my assistants and I are making sure that you have fun on the Hefferoo Sim! Our last event we had inside the store. Today we'll be having it on the beach, right outside the store. Yes, there is more to the Hefferoo Sim than Vitamin Ci. I hope to see you there!

Farrah

Farrah is my 70's inspired outfit. One of my assistants wanted to do a 70's party...and I was like ummmm...I don't have any 70's outfits! So many people were asking for the Swirve top in different patterns and colors so I figured this would make everyone happy....The handkerchief top has a subtle paisley pattern and the bell bottoms have some not so subtle mod prim bells. I especially love the butterfly buckle on the belt as well as the butterfly tattoo that can be worn on the back. It's available in 4 awesome colors (Brown Shown). Vitamin Ci's Grand Opening Reflection...

Oh, so many changes I've been through in the past few months! New friends, new sim, new chapter in my life. There's only been one constant, and that is my family. Why not? They have to put up with me! Anyway, most of you know that I had my grand opening on Sunday, but what had me all misty was my family! They threw a suprise Vitamin Ci grand opening celebration for me RL. I freaked! Like many other business people in SL I'm sure you've gotten the head scratching and puzzled look when you try to explain what you do on Second Life. My family was the same way until they saw how much work I put into it and what I was producing. Ever since then they've been behind me 110% and their party Sunday night proved it:

Ciera Bergman may be cute all day, but RL Calesta looked like she was suprised by this photo and on the computer all day (that white stuff all over me is homemade confetti)...Sorry kids, had to block me out. I have something against showing people my pictures unless I'm looking dead sexy. But you can see the fiance..he's hot :-D

Now, I'm sure you understand why I didn't do a step by step of the account of what happened at the SL Grand Opening when I had THIS to share :-)) I love you guys though...thank you sooooo much for coming! It made me feel so special that so many people love the store and care about my success. CHEERS!

A good friend of mine, Tigerlily Koi, owner of Calla suggested I make an outfit that was a mixture of Kim and Rachel. Vitamin Ci-Class was born! Swirve....

Yeah, so I'm bad at blogging. It amazes me how some can blog like 3 or 4 things at a time. I bow before them! Okay, so what's new? Lots...but let me start off with Swirve (more to come later). It comes with a pucci handkerchief top and hand drawn skinny jeans. Comes in 5 colors. Yay, new items! Cay is the newest addition to Vitamin Ci. Issa Scaggs came up with the name. She said it reminded her of the Cayman Islands. PS: As of this past Friday, I am officially a Middle Grades Education Teacher...certified to teach Language Arts and Social Studies...That long road to a B.S. is finally over...Masters (and chilluns), here I come :-D

Okay...so if you read my blogs often, you know I'm a big "America's Next Top Model" fan. I pick a model early and I stick with them til the end. AJ was my favorite last season and she didn't win...That sucked....And, although I'm excited about Diana and Whitney (the first plus sized models on the show) this season, I'm more excited about Jael. Jael is from Detroit. She seems a little rough around the edges (I like that) and she's a sweetie pie with a very unique look. When she told the panel she was half black/half german, I was wowed and thought about the possibilities of Jay (he's German)...and our baby looking NOTHING like me...but I digress. I hope she wins, because she's fierce without being a total biatch! Good luck to you. Jael...

Tankies for Seperates!

As of late, there have been many customers requesting seperates. I decided to take a stab at it and do some tanks and shorts. The "Tankie" line has 4 set of tank top colors: Romance, Nights (shown), Naturals, and Royals. The jean shorts come in Black, White, Tawny, Brown, and Blue. Why the 2.0's?

Well, some people think that after making an outfit and getting better, that the old "ugly" ones should go in a vault and never be seen again. I disagree. The idea is still great and with a little more knowledge, you can make an outfit that looked "okay" and turn it into your current fabulous. That's what I've done with Vitamin Ci-Sporty v2.0. I've fixed up some thangs, made them pastel (Cotton Candy, shown), added socks and there you go! Customers are happy about the boycut shorts and I'm happy a good idea that started off with a cut off top and some boyshorts turned into something else...with a little bit of shading here and there! Oh My Neglected Men's Line...

Heyas doods...and all the ladies who shop for their doods...I've made something new for...well yeah, doods! Vitamin Ci-Chris has a mock button up under a sweatervest and jeans :-D Comes in Gray (shown), Blue, Olive, and Red. I know it's been a while since I've actually designed a male outfit but since Lonewolf Mackenzie officially doesn't sell his menswear @ Vitamin Ci anymore (he has his own shop now and it's lovely..check it out)...I wanted to make sure that you all weren't neglected all together! Hallow Revisited...

Many of you may already own the dress Vitamin Ci: Hallow...but you do not own it with a flexi prim skirt and scarf...you ALSO don't own the colors blue and black! Yes, I revisited Hallow, made some improvements and I have to say I'm pleased. I hope you are too. If you own Hallow (the brown one) already, IM me and I will trade you for the new version. If you haven't noticed, I've been trying some new things (a different style). Not to say I've perfected anything. For instance with the cut of the top; it does something weird near the straps that wouldn't bug most people but has bugged the heck out of me. Next dress cut like this I'll figure out a solution. Although new techniques will take tweaking--I am taking more risks. Hopefully those risks will produce some beautiful things. Vitamin Ci-Catherine has an old time feel with a modern touch. Correction...No Jolee Blue

So, my addicts and a couple of people who heard by word of mouth this morning got a chance to take advantage of an 1L outfit from my store. Reason being? Well, after staring at the Jolee outfits, I decided that the blue one was just plain ugly. All the rest grew on me and I figured that soon that one would too...but, it never did...and I could not in good conscience have people spending that much money on an outfit of mine that I thought was ugly...sooo, I made another color: Olive. I put it in the pack and sold the blue one for 1L until I finished changing the advert for the outfits. I was surprised at the response for an 1L item. A customer named Candee bought her entire Lucky Chair crew with her; it was funny. At any rate, out with the Blue (except @ Body Perfect in their newbie section), and in with the Olive. It fits much better and now I'm in lurve! Enjoy!

Alrighty! So, I tried something different. At first sight you may be like...meh! BUT...I promise you...it grows on you. It grew on me. Desigers...ever try to go one direction with a design and it takes you some place completely different. I was going for modern ...and I got Jolee. Comes in 4 yummy colors (Ginger is shown).
